Who we are

Get Me Online helps individuals and businesses in South Africa build a strong presence online. Contact: brian@getmeonline.co.za or WhatsApp.

Scope of services

Packages are described on the Packages page. In summary:

• Starter — R2,950 — one-page site, NAP on Maps, phone and email CTA
• Get Online — R6,500 — up to five pages, Maps, WhatsApp Chat button, SEO basics (our main package)
• Get Busy — R9,500 — includes Get Online, plus more pages, stronger SEO/AIO, conversion tweaks, analytics, priority timeline
• Care — R350 per month — optional site updates and upkeep after launch

Google Business Profile / Maps (name, address, phone) is included in every website package. A WhatsApp Chat button (wa.me) is included in Get Online and Get Busy — not in Starter. WhatsApp Business API automation is not included in Get Busy or any website package; it is a custom add-on. Google Workspace email is an optional add-on only, not a line on every card.

If you already have a website or working systems, we also offer AI training and automation as separate services: AI Kickstart (R1,950), AI Systems Build (R4,500), and optional AI Care (R450 per month). Those are not website packages and are not required as a monthly.

Quotes confirm the exact scope. Work outside the quoted package (extra pages, extra integrations, copywriting beyond supplied content) is billed separately if we both agree.

Quotes and forming a contract

A WhatsApp or email quote is an invitation to work together, not a standing offer forever. Prices on the website may change. A contract starts when you accept a quote and pay the 50% start payment (or we confirm another start date in writing).

Payment

Website packages: 50% to start, 50% when the site is live. “Live” means the agreed website is published on your domain or staging URL you can use, and (where in scope) the Google Business Profile work we control is submitted or live.

Care is billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled anytime before the next billing date. AI Kickstart and AI Systems Build are once-off and quoted separately from website builds. Optional AI Care is monthly only if you ask for it. Add-ons are quoted separately.

Invoices are due as stated. We may pause work if a payment is overdue.

Timelines

Typical launch is one to three weeks after we have your content and the start payment. That depends on the package, third-party approvals (Google, domain registrars), and how quickly you review. Dates we mention are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates, unless a quote says otherwise.

Your content and responsibilities

You warrant that text, photos, logos, and other materials you supply are yours to use, or that you have permission. You are responsible for the accuracy of business details (hours, address, prices, claims).

Google, Meta/WhatsApp, domain registrars, and hosting providers have their own rules. We cannot promise that a third party will approve a listing, account, or domain on a given day.

Intellectual property

Until the final invoice is paid, Get Me Online owns the site design and code we create. When the project is paid in full, you receive a licence to use that website for your business. We may reuse general techniques, components, and know-how. Stock photos, fonts, and third-party tools stay under their own licences.

You keep ownership of your logo, photos, and copy. We may show the finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.

Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel before work starts for a full refund of any start payment we have not begun applying. If you cancel after work has started, the start payment covers time already spent (research, design, build, listings). We will refund any unused portion that is clearly not earned — we aim to be reasonable for a small service business, not punitive.

The final 50% is not due if we have not delivered a live site as quoted. Care fees already billed are not refunded for unused days in that month; you simply stop the next month.

We may cancel if we cannot reach you for a prolonged period, if requested work is unlawful, or if invoices stay unpaid. In that case we invoice for work done and hand over whatever is reasonably complete.

Limitations

We provide services with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee search rankings, a number of leads, or uninterrupted third-party services. To the extent permitted by South African law, our total liability for a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project in the three months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited by law, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

Website visitors

This marketing site is provided as-is for information. Do not rely on it as professional, legal, or financial advice. We may change packages and copy without notice. Do not misuse the site (scraping that harms the service, attempting to break security, or sending malware).

South African law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The courts of South Africa have jurisdiction. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
